Birth of Isis emerged during my pilgrimage through Egypt and is deeply inspired by the sacred art and symbolism found within the tombs of Deir el-Medina, the ancient artisan village on the West Bank of Luxor.

The image speaks to the mysteries of creation, rebirth, and feminine power. Isis, one of Egypt's most beloved goddesses, was revered as a keeper of magic, motherhood, devotion, and transformation. Here she appears winged and radiant, emerging from the fertile waters of becoming.

For me, this painting reflects the relationship between creativity and life force, the continuous cycle of dissolution, renewal, and expression that lives within every act of creation.

A celebration of feminine sovereignty, sacred sensuality, and the courage to be reborn into ever deeper expressions of oneself.

Returns:
